First post, thought that i'd show my first ever car model! Plain black, and one with a purple paint that I'm not happy with. I haven't shown the back purposely because I never quite finished the taillights, or the wipers. What do you guys think?

I learned a lot from modelling this: In particular I should stop applying ameshsmooth and then shelling it and THEN converting it to an editable poly... the final was about 1.6 million polys all up and a nightmare to edit

Very nice model, I like the purple paint I would like the settings of that one if you are willing to share and if the model is made in max...#

Some of the pics look a bit grainy to me though...

here are the settings, maybe someone can improve on it for me? That'd be good.

It has a noise filter @2% over the top, because I thought that the renders looked too "clean" and I wanted to dirty them up a little.

The other pic I am putting up is the flakes I was trying for with my paint, but couldn't get anywhere near. Since then I've found out the settings, but it still doesn't look anything like it. Anyone got an idea about it?

Very nice job with modeling and rendering. Now about that car paint, Can you post the .mat? Because it tryed making it and i got messed up when it came to the cellular part.
