To post or not to post

I just had nothing to do ( when do I have :roll: ) so I checked the memberlist and found out this:

Total members: 14975

People with more than 0 posts: 1524
Of total: 10,18%

People with 10 posts or more: 525
Of total: 3,51%

This means that only 10% of the members on this forum have ever posted and that only 3,5% really contributes anything to the community. I think this is really odd or are there so many innactive members??

Well looks like most of them are just leeching blueprints here
Or they have forgotten this site, I don't know... there could be many reasons

Most people indeed leech blueprints, and I think those people just don't feel like spamming the rendering forum with "OMG!!! hock: it's awsome 10/10"
And I dont think I'll start a topic here soon, because I have never made anything worth showing, 9/10 times I'm pretty far with the model, and something comes between, I forget to work on it and then I think ahh what the hell, there are 10000 other beautiful cars why sweat on this one"


There is only 1% who really contributes, which includes all (blueprint) donators and great artists, and those with brains

So just don't be angry with the leechers, most of 'em ain't that bad.

I think the important is just to try a to help at your (small ) level.If you come handy it's great and if not, it doesn't matter because you've tried and it's better than nothing.

6 months ago I was terrible too, really pathetic. But I'm not gonna look at all the work of others and than think: I'll never achieve something like that (ok, there is a level when you can say it but not this level ).

Just try to show your work so we can help you to become better. You know best what's worth showing but not all of us have the same talent and that's why the talented people can help the less talented, I think that's a big point of these forums.

this may sound a little arrogant (is that english?), but I know that I can be good modeler (as a matter of fact, I think I'm not bad at all ), and I can see what's wrong with my models.
The starting modelers just need to do and finish some more tutorials, I know I need to start FINISHING them .

so although you have a good point in saying that the talented need to help the less-talented, I dont think the less-talented need my help, and I don't need well-talented people's help, only for rendering, and maybe texture making.
