So how did you learn of SMCars?

I found it through 3dbuzz.com

Onno Van Braam gave me a link to a blueprint i requested, which happened to be here!

I'm very new to 3dsmax (<1 week) and the reason i blagged it out of my college is for car modeling. I'm still learning the basics and gathering tutorials, but expect to see some WIP from me soon!

Puzzled Paul put up a link on the Wings3D forum at Renderosity (or was that the Modeling forum? Doesn't matter too much...) when somebody was asking for a good place to get car blueprints other than Suurland. (Probably needed an American car - something Suurland lacks resources for.) And I followed the link.

I think this seems llike a neat place. Not to mention that you can go and upload files (my website's free downloads is full, not to mention bandwidth is limited. Small price for free hosting though.)

Back in September last year, I was searching for some Lotus Elise pics for a high poly car I was making (which I posted in the wips board...not sure if any of you remember it). I searched and searched, and finally I found this site through another site found through google. Heck if I remember that other site :lol:

i was doing a google search for blueprints and this site was on the top ten list.....

I think there was a guy that gave me this link...
And uhmm.. Quite a coincident, but I think those were the GTO prints too
And well, a lovely GTO came out of that lol
