Yet Another n00b Question - 3DS MAX - SMCars

I know this may sound stupid, but I want to be able to change the background color of my renders. I looked all over and can't find this anywhere. I am sure it is possible, but I don't know how to do it... can anyone help me? I will appreciate any help that is given.

Software:

- 3DS MAX 7
- Mental Ray

There is an option in the Environment dialog (Render -> Environment) that lets you choose the background colour. I think the shortcut is "8".

yeah, my dad would not let me print 'em with black backgrounds. So as I said, thank you.
