A problem with 3dmax7

i just installed 3d max7
i got one little problem
how can i turn on this tool bar in 3d max 7

i know in 3dmax 5 you just press Y and its done
can any one help please
i tryed setup user keys but its steel dont work

My understanding is that in Version 6 they did away with this feature. But there's a work around for it. This is what I did. I went from Max4 to Max7

In the Max 4/UI directory I selected the following files.

_startup.ui, 3DSMaxR3.cui, 3DSMaxR3.kbd, 3DSMaxR3.qop, 3DSMaxR3.clr, and 3DSMaxR3.mnu

I copied those to my Max7/UI folder. Renamed the _startup.ui to 3DSMaxR3.ui

Start Max7 go to Customize Menu - Load Custom UI Scheme. from the window that pops up select the newly copied 3DSMaxR3.ui and you will get those back.

Note: Anything like the Reactor menu down the left side will be removed. If you add it back into this UI you will have to save it for it to load each time you start Max.

Forgot to tell you. You will have to load the tabs with the commands> I believe when I did this most where missing. Just make sure once you are done you re-save the UI.

i dont know if it helps, but u can try this:
from the upper menu choose customize, then customize user interface... then from there u should click on toolbars....and when its done press reset

it has helped me to return some toolbars that have gone missing... :roll:
