Could be a keyword issue in your search... Sometime's it's tricky sorting the wheat from the chaff, especially when there's a lot of chaff.

I think using the words "audiophile forum" when googling will give you some more relevant hits. Usually such places cover all kinds of stereo & electronics stuff. Good luck!
