Re: NooB CarS

LOL this thread is brilliant

Beware! Strong pictures may occur!

Although this is nothing less than hideous even for a first car lol, I guess it comes to show what great progress I underwent during a fairly short amount of time.

Since I happen to care a great deal about the people around me, the pictures are reduzed to 640 x 480, haha!
Don't say I did not warn you!

^ and no, I am sorry to say that it is not damaged lol. No it is not a Rover either.

Re: NooB CarS

Ahahaha, you forgot to show the Saab without damage, mate!

Yes, that was a Passat The other Passat was my fourth model or so, which I only modelled because of some guy 'challenged' me (and I could have lost, haha!)
I think a lot of first projects got dumped, even the very first Mondeo I did. It does not really matter though, since they are all burried somewhere on the old computer On this one, the oldest mesh is the Gallardo lol!

Re: NooB CarS

Some of these noob cars are pretty good, while others are fairly woeful. Some of them make me wonder how you can make a car so out of proportion with blueprints. I'm still yet to complete any high detail meshes (I spend a LOT of time making models for video games, so he poly counts don't come close). I'm part way through both a 95 Mustang Cobra, and a DeLorean, and since I'm on holidays for 2 months, hopefully I'll be able to finally post some pics for you all to see. Some of these pics give me a bit of inspiration (not to mention the ego boost), so thanks for the laughs!

It's like button bashing, except food comes out.

Your memory serves you just great
Ah, those airbags...lovely device which added about 3K to the total polycount (and they didn't even always work )
