racer and other car games

i dont have any of these games to put my cars in so i dont know how it all works but ive heard loads of peple talking about putting their cars in the games
i was just wondering if it is possible to get cars out of the game and into 3ds max or any 3d program?
because i thought it would be worth doing if you could get cars from a modern game that were reasonably detailed
i might be totally wrong but its just an idea that might save some people some time because im sure some people dont want to do the initial modelling and they just want to change/modify the cars etc.

Re: racer and other car games

most cars from modern games that are detailed are on systems (ps2, xbox). And ive never seen anyone export a xbox or ps2 model file, just the texture files. Um also pc games might have some nice detailed cars, try lookin for exporting nfsu2 cars.
