My ambitions, yes im aiming rather high...

Well i have been looking about this site for actually quite a while now, i first came here because i found it had the best resource for blueprints on the net, then as i was using the search function i started to stumble across peoples work... and i must say, i was speechless, i loved it all, so i spent hours looking at more and more work, the work that gets displayed here, is F**king awesome, i almost fell off my chair when i looked into the f'n'f contest thread... anyway i have attempted modeling cars before, and i could barely get them into shape, so i was wondering if i could get some tips/pointers/advice/help along my next project from some of you guys.

I not long ago started on a WRX sti 2003 model, but before i knew it i had messed it up and it now looks not much like the real thing, so i want to start over once again, this time on a muscle car. I hoped to have a shot at a '69 Chevrolet Camaro SS, is there any chance that some of the artists from this forum can help me along with it? (not with modeling, but with tips and tutorials etc)

First off has anyone used a good blueprint for a 69 camaro ss that they would reccommend?

Any help is very very much appreciated, thanks

Hey Scott, very difficult to find good Z28 reference let alone prints. I modelled the Z28 for PGR2 and used the elevational photos from Craig Cheetham's "Power Cars" as a guide. BTW Craig's whole line of books including "Supercars", "Sports Cars" and "Custom Cars" are all excellent if you can't find prints.

Good luck mate!

well im not really making this for anything in particular, i just wanted to replicate the car, and customise some parts of it (like the paint for example), how much did the book cost you? and did you buy it online?

I didn't buy mine online (they're not difficult to find in bookshops), although you can get them through Amazon etc, you should be able to pick them up for around $20 each... very good value for this type of hardcover book.

Edit: sorry none of these links are working

Re: My ambitions, yes im aiming rather high...

i think that link may be broken, anyway i thought i might make the convertable comaro (http://www.smcars.net/forums/index.php?topic=17512.0), because there is blueprints for it on this site, but it turns out that the prints for it are innaccurate, the dimensions of different parts are are different for each view

Im not sure what i'll do now
