Question about autosave in 3DSMax

In max 7, is there a way to disable the program from saving every now and then during the scene. like i would be doing something on a highpoly car so its already slow. and all of a sudden max starts saving and freezes up while tryin to save when i DONT want it to save. i just neeed a way to make it so the only time it saves is when i click save scene manually. its makin me very angry when it does this cuz it does it every minute or so, and it pisses me off badly lol. :'( so if anyone knows how to resolve my issue plz inform me on how. thx ahead of time.

It should be simple: just turn it off somewhere with the options.. But I don't use Max so I don't know where.

i know, ive looked evrywhere in options but so far no luck.i guess i just wait for someone to answer that knows where it would be.
