Annoying problem in 3ds max

Hello!

My problem is this:
When I press the middle button of the mouse to pan, in any viewport, the surface becomes a bounding box, and when I take the finger off he go back to normal…
This is very annoying because I can’t see the surface when I’m rotating.
This is a good thing if you have a weak pc, since I can’t complain...

Thanks

I remember that by pressing "o" you should get the view to normal

Re: Annoying problem in 3ds max

thanks!!! it was so simple... :x
at the begining was the problem of the pan (I key)...
and now it was this one...
and i found that the J key removes/adds a box around the object!

it would be nice to make a topic about the annoying problems of 3ds max!!!

Re: Annoying problem in 3ds max

My nuisances of the past with max have been-
1. accidentally toggling off the "shade selected polys" option. Now that I know the key for it (F2), I use it all the time.
2. When scrolling and zooming have been going in very small increments. My and my friend both sat there hitting everything on my keyboard until we figured out that "z" resets the camera movement based on the selected item. I don't know how I lived before knowing that shortcut key. It is one of the most used shortcut keys I use in Max.
3. toggling on the gizmos with X. I just hate them.
I prefer to just sit my hand over the F5-F8 keys when I'm moving things to change the axis constraints. I know the gizmos should be easier, but I've just never really liked them.

It's like button bashing, except food comes out.
