I'm currently in the middle of modelling a Ford Indigo (temporarily on halt due to assignments and such), and the best picture I could find for the small text on the side of the car that says "Indigo" on the side was a small, highly compressed image that was only 162x76 pixels. Then I was reading a catalague today and I saw the cover for the video game of King Kong. It was using the exact same writing. I didn't even figure that it was a real font. I figured it was some custom text they'd created. So I applied some contrast to the pityful image I had and used whatthefont.com to tell me the font. Well, I was very happy to find the exact font at the top of the list. I never even thought it would be an existing font. Good day for me
Now all I need is somereal blueprints.....
Anyway, has anyone else ever have some lucky/fluke finds of anything that helped one of their models?
