making bps

hi to all
i wanna know, how to make blueprints with my models
im using max

Wasn't it something that had to do with making renders and built NURBS Curves on them?

That's the way I created my F430 BPs - make hi-res renders (of front, back, top and side), place the renders onto image planes in Max and trace with NURBS/Splines.

Another way you may want to try is using toon renderers. It's difficult to get decent results, especially if your car has complex shapes, but it's worth a try. Who knows, the technique might come in handy in the future.

Or you could just make side, front, top and rear renders of the model and draw the lines you want in another program... Freehand maybe? :?

cell shading/illustration works best on low poly model, though i dunno about how it would work on hi-poly models.

well, i think, that i will use the metod by using nurbs on the white plane and render them
