3D Max 8 help

i tryed putting the blueprints in to 3d max 8 but cant get it to work can some one help whos using 3d max 8 iam new to this

So what exactly is the problem? You have created the planes for the prints all ready? If you have just put the print bitmap on a materials diffuse slot and check "show in viewport" then just assign the material to the plane

another method, but not very offen used, is to put the bp to background of a view

Hmmm... then i think you have only a bitmap on your material slot. You need to drag it to a diffuse slot of a material or load it directly there, then assign the material to the plane.

i can see the image in render mode but not in 3d mode do u know why

Press F3 and you'll see the pic in viewport also

(FOLLOW MY STEPS FROM THE PIC)

Step 1. If you see your print in the slot, then...

Step 2. Click on this, Show map in viewport.

Step 3. Then click here, Asign material to selection.

Make sure the plane is selected first before you apply the blueprint texture to it.
