Reflection help

Ok, so heres the deal. I finished my ride and just about done and ready for print but I hve one little problem. I have my ride on a white background and have a plane with a shadow/matte material to create the shadow under the ride.
Now want to have on the ground the refection of my car. could some one please tell me how I can go about doing this. thanks

Firstly, it's always recommended to say which programme you are using.
Second, this is the same in all programmes as far as I know, just make a new material for that ground, and make it reflective. Should be some value. In Lightwave for instance, just set the Reflection to 20% or something. In max, I think it would be 0.2 then.
Just try out different things, you can learn a lot by doing.

Thanks Night, strange seems like a lot of people forget to put down the program they using, I using 3dmax and rendering with mental ray.

I kind of figure that i would use the reflection in the materials. But whats confusing me is do I add the reflection to the same plane where I have the shadow material on or do i create a new plane and lay it under the the shadow plane.

you dont need a plane for your shadows. just make sure your lights are set to cast shadows. and make a simple raytrace material that has a falloff reflection for that ground plane.
