Thumbs up Greetings, you just made me a fan!

Hello everyone,
I am new member in your forum, and I was just digging around the projects of the members. The only thing I have to say is that you are all skilled as hell
I just got 3D Studio Max 8 from a friend and I have not the slightest idea of how to use it . It can be a bit complicated but I'll manage. I got in the hobby because I thought it would be nice to model my car in my PC and race with it in the games I play.

So since you guys know a lot about this stuff, do you know any programs, other than 3DS Max that are good and easy to use, or any smooth ways of learning how to model?
Thanks for your help and feedback in advance.

P.S.: I own an Alfa Romeo 33 of 1992. I'll upload the blueprints when i find a scanner.

A very easy programme to model cars for games with, is ZModeler. ZM1 is free, which I attached here. ZM2 is a commercial programme though. It's more advanced with more plugins, but ZM1 is just as capable of modeling cars.

I'd say Max is easier to use than ZMod once you get to used to it

And welcome to the forums, I hope you enjoy your stay

Max is defiantly easier and faster then zmodeler but again. Both can be a bitch if you don’t know how to use them. So just go with what your gut tells you. (But when is something free something you’ll get a carrier out of?) Hehe

Zmodeler is just as easy. It's just less advanced.
