UVW Unwrapping. Please Help

prog used - 3dsmax 8

when i unwrap a model, in the Edit UVW's menu,
i then click on Tools\Render UVW Template at the top.

how can i make the background of that render a different color because it is always black.

but mabye if you play with the environnement setting?

well i never did what u want to, but insted if u take the uv snap shot in a tga format, then u get an alpha split along with a uv file with a transparent background, you can then take it to photo shop and fill the background with any colour you like.
