Video Tutorial Programs

Hey, what program is everyone using to record their tutorials? I want to give it a try so I want to see which program is best and free lol.

I was reading the post on redstarts videos tutorials. He posted to use this one for recording videos. Camtasia Studio 2. Is that any good

well going by the name it probably won't be free, I don't think that there are any free recorders, with a decent quality and no watermarked video's

XSI, for some reason, my firefoz is working but not my I.E. so its not allowing me to log into MSN since its saying It cant find a internet connection.. WTF you mean im online sh*tttttttt lol sorry for the language but I hate how a program is telling me they cant find a internet connection while il browsing the web.

Hey cold, I have a question?? Ok so I did a tutorial and it was only 2 hours long. After renders at 1024/768, the file size was 4 gig. Is there anyw ay to compress it using that program

hhmmm man it is up to you.if u use a proper codec to render it you can do it well.for example i use xvid codec mostly.it is free and a good compressor btw...if that is not enough you can use extra movie compressors...
and what about making a movie of 16mins and just 2.5 mb filesize??? if yes then just download Windows Media Video 9 Screen codec

Virtualdub allows you to compress video files. It's free, so just do a google search

snagIT is the best capture screen program... but you have to pay for it...
