silly question but, how do i find out how many tris my car has in 3ds max 6.

my way is, was, and always will be, to just render the scene. the render progress window that comes up tells you the total face count for the entire scene that's rendering. Since I always make my reference planes non-renderable, that count is always 100% accurate.

yea, another way mmm, but this way is not usefull if you try to optimize your mesh...
