My first post

Hi guys,

I stumbled onto this site when I was googling for blueprints. I'm really, really,REALLY new to this 3d stuff. I've got 3ds max 8 installed and some video tutorials from lynda(or is it linda).com to help me get started. I've gained alot of interest in 3d and am curious if I am able to do it myself. Any tips from you guys? Cheers.....

just i little tip is to keep in mind that at times modeling can be frustraiting and annoying and make you want to hurt someone, (well maybe not that extreme), when you get to that point give it a break for a day or two then come back to it. Dont be discouraged about how sometimes modeling can be a long and (sometimes) boring process but keep at it.

Practise makes perfect, and don't rely on prints too much.
Good luck!
