3DS MAX 5 vs LIGHTWAVE 7

LW cause unless you are a rich git or love to steal programs its cheaper (I think)

Not to mention cars from LW are generally of a higher Calibur to Max cars (most likely modeller ability but meh)

As for me, Zmod and a patient hand is all I need

lol, this is very nais, i use cinema 4d
i think it's easy, the only difficult thing is to find good blueprints, most of them are just ********
exactly: a good blueprint in my view is in 4 perspectives, front, back, side and top.
highres and the scale has to be right!!!!
anyway, i use c4d and its not to hard......
just a question, i dont know lw, is lw freeware/shareware?

3DS MAX 5 vs LIGHTWAVE 7

well... I've been using lightwave for about 7 months... and I started modelling and animating with 3ds max... finally I stay with lightwave, i think the tools and interface is a little bit more traditional than with 3ds max, and that really works for me cause I'm an old PC guy, so...

Also lightwave can give same results as with 3ds max but what change is the interface and workflow with poligons.

I think LW modeler is one powerful tool that increases the worthness of having LW.

Also 3ds max has good modelling tools, but they are still confusing and u might get same results but more time to do it...

I would like to show you something I'm working on with lightwave...
