Help With Max

i dunno if this is the right forum to post this but here it goes..

I've been trying to make something in max now, and the question is how do i leave something with a sharp edge when i aply a meshsmooth to it ??
cuz it gets all round and stuff and i can't figure out how to

Its also good to read with meshsmooth (NURMS subdivision) is really about at http://www.wide3d.no/tutorials/Car_nurms_01.htm

Generally its about packing your vertices tight together and create 3-point edges where you want it to be a sharp edge.

Help With Max

very easy all you do is put poly's together like the pic i will post up,closer the polyies Sharper the edges(no need to put much polyies 2 polyies would do it ).



first pic is no wireframe but the same as the first but with added meshsmooth

and the second is with wireframe without meshsmooth

thnx that should help expect to see a car from me made in Max soon :wink: , i'm just have to get used to it cuz i'm not used to make stuff in max since i've been using zmodeler for quite some time now
