Irc-Channel #smcars opened

It's very easy to get there. If you're using Firefox just download plugin called Chatzilla for it. Then click link irc://mediatraffic.fi.quakenet.org/smcars

It connects you automatically to our channel. If you want to use certain program for it, then I recommend to download HydraIrc or mIrc. They are more complicated to setup thou.

Here's quick guide how to use mIrc:

-> Open mIRC and then go to view -> options.
-> Choose Connect. Put your nickname there and other information if you wish.
-> Choose Connect-Servers next. To there choose Quakenet to IRC Network and IRC Server can be random.

If you wish that mIRC connects you automatically to the SMCars channel, then choose Connect - Options and from there Perform. Tick the "Enable Perform on Connect". To the list below add this command "/j #smcars". Now every time you push the connect button, mIRC automatically connects you to the #smcars

Fixed the instructions. Copied them from The Borg Gaming website where I also setup Irc channel and I guided people to join to the #theborgs instead of #smcars. So the right channel is #smcars

I cant even connect anymore gettin timed out. Anybody else or is it just me?

Not sure if its working,i connected just now and its only me in their,theres supposed to be that bot L but its not. hmmmm

If that's the case L has dropped there for some reason. It should rejoin the channel sometime.

this server is going very weird for me. Pissin me off too. Whats going on? I cannot connect and it wont let me use my username anymore :S

someone else is using same username i guess, thats why you're having problems.

I might be able to join irc tonite if I get temporary gfxcard, if not then tomorrow.

Irc channel is still open (24h), would be nice to see more users at there too. It's bit quiet there atm

How would I go about connecting to it with XChat?
What's the server address? I tried using: irc://mediatraffic.fi.quakenet.org/smcars but it didn't like that.
