hmm, i have another suggestion.. i have a buddy that runs an IRC network... quite possibly a channel for users here looking for such, as well as blueprint sharing, etc.. could be arranged, on another arena, a DirectConnect channel could be created as a firm base. This would allow things such as texture sharing, maps, etc...

I dont know how the admins here feel about this, any input would be appreciated. Personally I think that sort of thing would encourage more involvement, users there could be kind of a headquarters for help or resources or whatever..

just a thought, i know it would probly cause bandwidth issues if its all directed from the forum, but if the users freely trade bandwidth, theres no real downside to having it.. anyway, if this sounds like something people are interested in, ill try and arrange something.

not bad of a idea but your forgetting that probably some of us can't send because of router or something like that blocking the outgoing thing i use mirc and i can't send because of my router
