starting out with the right car

Hi all, just joined recently... reason being, want to learn 3D modeling, cars specifically... I used to work with Rhino couple of years ago, and do architecture, but cars are much more complicated...

So I had a few ideas about which cars I want to add to NFSHP2... and there are so many great ones, I have to pick one to start with... Since I am, realistically, a N00b at this, I want to make sure I pick the right car to start with. My options are: an 80's fast road car (Audi Quattro, BMW M3 E30, Renault 5 GT Turbo to name a few), then I always liked the classic racers, with smooth curves, such as Porsche Carrera 6... And third option was the 30's racers, like Auto Union Type C, Mercedes W25 and such...

So what style of car is easiest for a beginner? If all of them are hard, I rest my case! But any advice is helpful, and I will be using Zmodeller this time.

Thanks for your time,
Paco

I wanna see a e30 modeled! I've never use Zmodeler but I know the e30 is a pretty simple car structurally.

A car that is pretty boxy like the Audi Quattro could maybe be seen as easier but not much

I think its better to go a with a car that you like and have good prints and reference pictures of.

the most easiest car i know would be a golf and those are pretty easy to start off with because of there small size and not very detailed unless ya want to tune it up then there's alot of details to be added but for a regular one nah

thats what i see

Well, i did make up my mind.. I am going to make Audi Quattro... It's boxy, and I love the car a lot - so I should enjoy making it. Besides, after I am done with the basic version, I will experiment with tuning it - first UrQuattro, than the Sport Quattro... After that I could try the S1 Quattro...
