z modeler help

sometimes when i make a face in z modeler the colour turns black see the pic. if i could get an answer that would be cool

That are the normals...
The normals on those black spots have a length of 0
So if you calculate them (or put flatshading on), you will find that that part isn't black anymore

As NightEye said, try to recalculate the normals.

To do that, select all vertices, activate SEL and use the command Surface, Normals, Calculate to see if it helps.[/b]
