z modeler poly help

i made my first ten minute model and when I got to texturing I accadentally assigned one poly to the wrong matereal. So I went back to change it when I noticed that all of the polys around the miscolored one were gray. There there but cant be moved, selected or anything, but you can still see them in the 3d veiw. So basically I want to know how to make the polys "normal" again.

Also how do you render your model. Do you need a special program or does z-modeler do renders?

Thanks

Currently working on a 2003 ford Explorer.

Go to Display/enable, and click somewhere (in faces mode btw) in the screen.

Witha special program, like LW, Max, Maya, Cinema, etc...
Or just make simple ZM shots.
