    Tire size calculator

As I'm always going crazy about tire nomenclature (255/40-19", 185/60-14", etc.....) I surfed the web and I found this webpage where it automatically calculates the final diameter and circumference of your tire:

    TIRE SIZE CALCULATOR

Hope it helps someone as it has helped me

    Cheers

    Also see here:
    http://www.smcars.net/forums/article...l-letters.html

    For example:
    Given: 255/55 R16

    What you do:
    255 : 100 x 55 = Sidewall height in millimieters

255 is the tire width in millimeters
55 is relation height to width in percent
    R is construction method
    16 rim diamter in inches

Inches of the rim are given anyway.

hehe, jup just can't stay forever on the frontpage :/

Maybe we need some sort of gallery with sidewalls?? That would fit in there

    Cheers,
