Where did you learn how to model a car?

Where did you learn how to model a car? The tutorials I find online aren't helpful at all... I get started (like modeling part of the wheel-arch), but then I can't make the hood... Nothing seems to piece together... I'm having soo much trouble and I've spent so many hours trying already... Help me out please!

Online written tutorials and a lot of trial and error.

i lean how to model a car by reading teh official zmodelr tutorial. i was amazed by what i did lol

and then i continued reading tutorial on the net
and i sure did a looot of trial and error

i started by doing a couple of tutorials, not fun when you don't figure it out on your own. and i couldnt follow them for very long.

then i read tons more tutorials, but didn't do them, just picking up the general technique.

after that, help from forums, and trial and error/practice
(i get alot of practice when 3dsm crashes and i lose my work )

I picked up modelling all by myself. Once i realised there were tutorials they helped me out, but i already had the basics which most teach you in the bag. Accuracy was a big thing for me untill i nailed the edgepull technique, now its pretty simple, even without prints.

ZM tutorial for the basics, the rest trough trial and error..
As for LW.. Kinda the same way..

Quite literally toyed with Carcad, and then Zmod for over a year each. The tutorials still don't make sense to me.
