K.im new with Max so forgive the stupidness an all, and if this is posted somwhere please link me but..i was watching one of the video tuts and i have some ?s
-How do u like drag a section out of somthing ex; its like |_| and u do somthing and drag and it goes |_|_| like it duplicates the first thing and drags it out...
-I saw the guy just like create a line between two parralel lines ex | |, |-|, and it created twice as many faces..i need to learn that..and please list some max keyboard commands..thnx alot in advance

I think you are asking about holding the shift key down and dragging? You can also click and edge and use the extrude button and move it after. But i think the Shift+moving in the direction you want it to go is what your looking for. I hope this helps

when i hit shift it just says somthing like clone to element...wha? and in the video, the guy just clicks the vertexes and moves them..i must not know what to do cause i always click align? o.o

the guy doesnt drag the verticies...he drags the edges

Sounds like you are in vertex mode. Click edge below modifier list and try again. :wink:
