3DS MAX 5 - Newbie tech support question

Have you tried to reinstall it?
And does it give some kind of error report when it has loaded everything and should start the program?

no message!

it does not show any error message or a warning. Ones 3ds has loaded, it will just exit before i can even see 3dsmax interface. Pls help I really enjoy modelling even if i suck. I use to model cars using Zmodeler but i found it very hard because i can not replicate a certain car even if i use blueprints.

I must disagree
ZMod is much harder! IMO user interface is better and many other things are in 3DS.
ZMod is good though for a free program. It's little unfair to compare these two programs.

And back to topic... Try also different graphic card drivers before formatting!!

Lol, 3DSM not better than Zmod? omg
3DSMax is one of the bst polymodeling and animation program there is, and Zmod is nothing compared to that...
