I need Cienma 4d (take two)

Does anyone know of a way to get a cheaper/free version of cinema 4d? I don't have kazaa or anything like that, by the way.

Your other post on the subject was closed because it was a flat out request for warez information.

This one can stay if it only concerns legal way of obtaining software. The only way I can thinnk of if is maxon offers student licences.

If this thread even touches warez it will be locked and anyone providing or requesting warez info will have to suffer the consequences

i meant student discounts and such... i didnt see an offer on the maxon website. a free version would be nice and all but if its illegal, im not getting into it.

i thought my other post was closed because it was in the wrong forum, i didnt mean to ask for illegal stuff (even though i technically did). i'm now assuming warez means illegal software, not just software. My bad.

3D World had a full version of Cinema4D 6CE on their cover disk about a year ago. Try http://www.3dworldmag.com/backissues.asp for back-issues.
It was not exactly a FULL version, since it could only do 640 x 480 size renders, but you could upgrade it to the CE+ version that can do 16000 x 16000 renders for about 100Euro .
I checked and the upgrade is still available.
Worth a try, isn' t it - even if it is an older version...
