3D program???

Hello all, new to the site, it's a great resorce.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a FREE, or inexpensive program to build these cars in?

ZModeller or GMax are good programs for free.
One minus is that you can't render with them

ANIM8OR

It rules I have it and It´s 100% free, easy to learn/use.
It has good renderer too!

ALSO I have made a tutorial to making cars, but it´s little old, because new version of Anim8or(Beta 0.9) has edge extrude

I'd recomend Maya PLE 6, it has the mental ray renderer, and most of the features from Maya Complete 6.

It will recognise standard Maya files but saves files as PLE file though, and has a watermark feature.
