Help needed for Uni project

Hiya.

My friend is in need of a 3d modeller for his design course (Cardiff), I would do it but I am only any good at 2d models.

He is requiring a person who can model an agricultural machine in good quality (low poly or not), possibly an exploded view. He is reasonably good at sketchup then rendering from that but found that he cannot model quick enough and only simple things.

His project is a 12 week course but it needs to be done with some time to spare, he is willing to pay but not a lot as he is a student!.

what it is going to be used as is as a 3d rendered view to put on his display board so any program can be used providing it is of good quality. Credit will be given of course.

Quick Replies please. (Via PM with contact details)

why doesnt he do his own work, from what I know, any work submitted that is not your own, for your degree is against university regulations.

no for this course you are allowed outside help on this (3d model), but only this.

He is nowhere near quick enough, he can do chairs and cutlery but not anything really detailed like this. Plus when you can get somebody better to help why not!.

I must add the modeller doesn't need to help with the course just model the machine.

why though, a tractor with exploded views is a much larger project than some chair. Outside help? BS total BS, I've never ever heardthat before, esp something that would be examined on? considering nearly everything in uni is. If he wants to cheat his degree fine, but seriously whats the point...

Look I ain't him, I haven't reached Uni age yet so don't know the exact ins and outs of this particular course at Cardiff.

All I know is that he is in his year 3 of the course and he is allowed outside help (not doing the ****ing course) for the 3d view print out just to stick on a display board not creating the f***ing idea! providing it is credited I assume he is ok as he says Uni says it is fine.

His project he wanted to be different from others but in doing so made life hard in choosing a huge design, so what.........

Also I never said a Tractor I said agricultural machine learn the countryside (so a cross between a quad bike and a JCB).

eRage never helps to get your point taken seriously and nor do I understand why the person who needs it isn't asking for it. Not to mention an exploded view of anything aint too easy or cheap to model.
