New here

I am new here and starting to learn Maya on my own.

I been using Maya for about 2 months now and learned a lot of the basic and how to do small animation.

I want to start learning the basic on how to model a vehicle because i see some really cool ones here.

Any tips where to start and what is the best tool to use to modeling one?

I also know how to set up blue prints already.

Lightbulb Starting with Maya

there many ways to model a car:

you can use polygons, extruding edges and faces then convert to subdivs to get more resolution and softness. other way is to use nurbs, making lofts and projecting curves on surfaces. etc.

Maya has many tolls to model, just try them and choose the better for you

you can start by doing the maya help tutorials, to understand what tools it has ans how to use them.

I, too, am a beginner and really want to model a car but can't find good tutorials. If anyone has links that would be helpful.

If this is an old topic, where are they so we can read.

Also What program is best to model a car in. That is, easiest to model, texture, render, everything with??
