well...finally did some more modelling after months of procrastinating/doing other things...only the BMW to detail after this, then onto painting 'em up, woo :cyclop:
nice start. looks clean so far.
but you need to ditch the demon head... its quality really doesn´t hold up against the rest of the car and the snake... which looks alot better.
just my 2 cents
...
i have 3 or 4 reference photos for it, so i thought about it, but i guess i´m gonna focus on other things first. I´m planning to do the whole engine though.
cheers
lol.
i recorded this video in an additional viewport on my second screen where i just hid the blueprints and locked the camera. On my primary screen viewports i had of course blueprints.
cheers
Impressive... Just curious how did you achieve shape of hood at the front only using one surface span? Moving control point?

but there are other things in there that will not look too good... e.g. bottom of your...
i see a lot of bumps.
can you please show unsmoothed wireframes? should be easier then to point out the bumps and give advise on how to fix them.
Cheers
sometimes they are not completely avoidable, so you´ll have to learn to either hide them so that they do not result in visible pinches or bumps, or use them to your own good ;)
the last render really has potential...and i like it alot but the others are just too shiny and overdone and do not show off your good design very well.
cheers
... you could always start a thread in the Work in progress forum before you post your work into the gallery.
I´m sure people are happy to help you with your rendering.
cheers
well it really looks weird and all those tiny holes will be a problem during rendering.
I don´t know Alias and its toolset for tesselating the geometry all too good. But there should be tools...
Finally i can show you the final render in 4K with the new rims. CC welcome :)
@kriscabrera
did you checked the interpolation steps of your splines/text? i used not more than 1-2 steps - this...
