i have 3 or 4 reference photos for it, so i thought about it, but i guess i´m gonna focus on other things first. I´m planning to do the whole engine though.
cheers

i recorded this video in an additional viewport on my second screen where i just hid the blueprints and locked the camera. On my primary screen viewports i had of course blueprints.

Guys thanks for all the feedback and praise. This really motivates me to keep going.
But I got a little sidetracked during my search for references for the engine and by some busy weeks at work. But...
actually you could get away with that in zmodeler (=no mesh subdivisions) if you line them up propperly .
but there are other things in there that will not look too good... e.g. bottom of your...
I'd say the biggest things you need to work on are to use blueprints more, and stick as closely to them as you can for accuracy and scaling, and until you are more than 80% done with the overall...

I have some critiques in mind, but I don't think I can offer any valid critiques unless I know exactly what you aiming at for the design. If those first pictures are your prototypes I'd suggest...
a nice new revamp to the project :)
On a constructive note, get rid of LOD 02 & 03, skip straight from 01 to 04, depending on distances of course. But id say you wouldnt see it enough to matter...

the last render really has potential...and i like it alot but the others are just too shiny and overdone and do not show off your good design very well.
cheers
... you could always start a thread in the Work in progress forum before you post your work into the gallery.
I´m sure people are happy to help you with your rendering.
