Even though i could model it in max, i`m going to model it with good old zmod.

looks like a good start
i think zmodeler is very good for midpoly meshes, maybe even better than max![]()
If you are also planning on doing an interior and/or engine (you should) then i think you could lose some polygon rows.
some more polies added to the front. decided to use less polies on the bonnet as it isn`t as curvy as the fender and it would be pointless to waste polies there.

Yeah buddy! I like that! Keep the ZMod alive!
well i won`t be using that many all round, only where they are neede and the fender looked bad with less. i tried with fewer polies and added till it looked good...Originally Posted by Xoliul

added a pic of the current progress with some cylinders in the place of the headlights, it just looks a tad weird without them.
you should move some of your hood vertices to the front
anyway, this looks fine

nice
but i have not repair that part in my post
and you can now delete some edges on side

i have already deleted 2 rows of polies from the fender, and could you be more specific on the other problem...?Originally Posted by revelli

revelli meant the lines in green, moove them more forward, so your hood will get rounder.
check out the black line i painted, imo that extra poly row you have is very pointless, because if you have them or not, you will not notice a difference
other than that it looks very nice![]()
I'm a Prefectionist
well i`ll surely fix the bonnet, but i added that row of polies for a reason: that part is not sharp and i wanted to get good and smooth reflections.
thanx for the tips
hey mate...
hard to find andrei´s around the world! =P
good work on the alfa, and I agree with what people say, you shoud increase loops there..
otherwise you would get smoth problems on future...with chamfers...
maybe you could pull a loop of edges from that badge bump on the hood middle...
there`s plenty of Andrereis where i come from, there arent many of them around the internet and forums and stuffOriginally Posted by andreisperid

Looks good!
The rear light shape could use some adjustment, but overall the car seems to be pretty nice and accurate! Didn't have any super-close inspection, just pointing out what looked weird to me.
The green line is there only because it isn't smooth.
In fact... Even the drawing is a bit incorrect. The end of the rear light, which is closer to the center, is too tall... You might wanna lower it a bit.
And all my suggestions were based on THIS photo.

thanx man, will get right to fixing that...![]()
Very nice polyflow! But on that rear edge, there are some things, that could be fixed/done better.
I pointed out some things. Hope i can help you a bit!
