SMCars was hacked! If you're having problems with your account, try password recovery

Sorry for the inconvenience. Some lame kids have hacked the forums homepage. Stay tuned, we will be back!
www.smcars.net/forums redirects to the hackers forums. Please don't register there and post, that won't help I'm afraid.
You can get to the forums if you press New Posts link for example.

How could they hack smcars? I always thougt the website is safe.

"Adding power makes you faster on the straights. Subtracting weight makes you faster everywhere." Colin Chapman (founder of Lotus car company)
"I dont put my helmet on for something that needs more than 8 minutes around the Nürburgring." Walter Röhrl (German Rally Driver)
"Good drivers have the dirt on their side windows" Walter Röhrl (German Rally Driver)

Actually, I posted on their forums and they aren't as bad as most people like to believe. Hence, why smcars is back.
Usually hackers hack websites and give them back later to show the webmaster exploits in their system and security. So use that wisdom and see what you can do for this forum in order to prevent future attacks I'd say.

Anyway, it's good to be back, but i gotta go now. tomorrow i gotta scan a Porsche 944 Turbo print for you guys

You really think so

They caused actually lots of harm, so it wasn't just a funny little prank.

i just think someones mummy didnt pay enough attention, i mean come on, they hack the site then ask the ppl they just hacked to join there site.

if they wat to do this kind of stuff i am sure if they set up a proper site they could make money from hacking sites that they get hired to do.

Good to see the site back up!!

If you can turn, your not going FAST enough

true, mainly it is their way of getting attention they lack from somewhere else...sadly. and when something bad happens it can really do some harm to those who invested their time and energy to build something. it is easy to destroy, but so hard to build something. this site to me is like going to the library, so much knowledge and info that I myself would be saddened if it were lost.
