The scariest movie youve seen?

Well I always find its hard to think of scary movies since there are just so many. but Id have to say the scariest moviewould have to be , Event Horizon. This movie is a movie set in 2047 and well its dark and scary and you just never know what going to happen. The even more better part about this movie is it had is said to have alot of junk cut from it, it originally would have had a rating of NC-17 but to get R the even scarier stuff was cut out. They say someday to have a Directors Cut wit that stuff, thats what I'm waiting for.

scary movies..hmm..i've seen a lot but none of them made me scare....the ring for example, i couldnt stop laughing during all the movie

saw a movie like 23-24 years or so ago. the only thing i remember is one particular scene, A bunch of kids playing in some sort of junkyard . They stuffed one of theri friends in a fridge and they went beserk on each other with a big kitchen knife.
Dont know the title or anything. Would like to see it again though. That movie scared the **** out of me, no wonder i was only 7-8 years old at the time :lol:. Movies later on in my life have had very little effect on me. i prefer movies like There's something about mary etc.........

I am a huge Alien fan, I got a huge collection of alien toys in my livingroom.

I don't know is there any movie that would scare the **** out of me. I liked the Ring (Japanese Version, not the Hollywood one :x ) much. That's the best horror film I've watched.

Discocandy :Yeah the alien MOvies were pretty freaky. In my oppion the only good ones were Alien, and Aliens. After that they all sucked. Alien because its just the alien and the workers and you dont know where its coming from or where its at. Aliens because the commando parts were cool, and you had tons of aliens to see.
Ive never seen Species I myself, Ive seen bits and pieces on regular tv, so the good stuff was cut out.

Flash_Gordon : I only saw the hollywood version however Id id see the japanese version of... cant remember its title the Hollywood version is the Grudge but the japanese version had a different name. Anyhow the Japanese version was freaky and a bit wierd to understand for me.

Not really scary, exciting more.. But really, your heartrate goes up, sweat starts crawling from your head, etc
No really, it's a quite scary movie, but well, I always have to laugh sometimes during those "scary"movies, because they're sooo humoristic :mrgreen:

Oh btw.. I saw Blair Witch Project when I was.. 12 years old I think.. Kinda scares you too

Some time ago I saw the Haunting while being home alone at night, and I have to say: the scene where the skeleton pops up out of the fireplace-ashes... I was against the ceiling!

Me and my friend laughed when we saw "The Grudge"..
I saw "The Ring" myself, and got bored..

you tend to fear the unknown and because you dont know what is haunting you and what its capable of therefor you fear it
