Just wondering, what brand/model is this towtruck made from? I was going to model it, but since i don't know the brand i can't find any reference pics.

Cool looking truck. I tried using google, but came up short myself.

Looks like a custom model... Something that might have been used to move cars at races or on a show circuit. I tried finding Chrysler trucks from 50's and 60's on image searches and didn't see anything like it.

I could find Dodge trucks and Plymouth even... Dodges were a bit too boxy for this look, although some Plymouth models came close. Also you might try looking for Fargo trucks (also in the Chrysler family, but not sold in the U.S. Finding info on the web about that brand is a bit tricky.)

This is nice looking truck. It originates from a patent. If you are interested I could look what was the patent number.

From what I remember, it's an imaginary truck, used by the author of the patent to demostrate some sort of a concept to deal with equipment in the back of the truck. Thus, no wonder that you can't find reference pictures :roll: .

However, in my opinion, if you have the time to model this car, that would be just great, as it's a great example of the 1950s styling.

Chrysler didn't start using the current symbol till the 90s. Before they had a star, then before that was like a shield thing.

I don't think this truck is american. I would guess European.
