How do they do that?

Lowpolygon3d http://www.lowpolygon3d.com/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi have some sample cars for D/L does anyone know 1 how/where they get the skins (some even have snow on the roofs) 2 how they map the skins (they seem to broken into parts) Thanks JimB |

How do they do that?
well they make the SKins in ethier Paint program Paintshop pro or photo shop or any other,photoshop and Paint shop is the best to use for Skin making
,and i got a site that shows how to map them in 3d max it's like a visual Tutorial like JP's but it's ALOT more better because it's a frame by frame tut showing how to do things with ease and some people map there cars in 3d max rhino or zmod itself ![]() here's the link on how to skin up your Model(by what i mean by skin up how to make a skin for it):http://jozef.3dpixel.org/ that is a good Texture and box modeling Tut very easy to use and follow thats what i use for my 3d max and it should tell you how to texture anythign you got if ya got 3d max i hope this will help ya |
