What do you think? (design)

Hey guys,
What do you think of this blueprint I made up? I know it is a bit weird, but do you think it would work and look good? Thanks for any comments.

good to see my stuff in use

but the 2005 Ford Mustang is way to distinct to go on a car like that... actually so is the skyline front you used. I suggest changing the two up some, at least use different brake and headlight designs.

Right now it looks like something driv3r would do... They've got stuff like '67 Camaro fronts combined with '67 mustang fastback rears... they're believable, but it is kinda akward seeing that stuff, just because the vehicles look so much like replicas until you see the full thing, then it's like ... woah .. heh

anyway, for some good ideas on how to vary a car up, look at the way grand theft auto makes its vehicles different from the originals.... like the 1974 Buick Riviera and the Idaho are a good example... the brake lights on the real car are very distinguishable, with almost a chrome 'grid' on them... gta kept the general shape, but the brake lights make it harder to tell what the car is... Same with the front end. The headlights on the real vehicle are 4 round headlights, with a turn signal that's separate from them, yet the headlights on the gta model look more like those that would be on a 1988 Chevrolet Caprice or something

just some ideas... not sure what your plans for this are, like whether you're going to model it out in 3d, or just an interesting thing to look at... but yeah...

Man, those new mustangs are total crap. I'm no skyline fanboy but I can respect skylines, for their cost they're bloody fast cars. But the '05 mustang is slow, outdated and UGLY. Mixing those cars is a terrible thing...for the skyline.

I cannot confirm nor deny my car can do 220kph...

hhhmmm... seems the feedback is a bit varied well, i will see what i can do and modify it a bit more and then i will check back with you guys and see if it would be worth the time to model in 3D. I could take some suggestions if anyone wants to dish them

P.S. thanks multimediaman for the great blueprints and the suggestions. I hope you don't mind me modifying the blueprints though

Try mixing bits of the cars together in other ways...like try to make elements of the mustang appear at the front end and skyline bits show up at the rear...I'll admit I like the mustang's front...the look is growing on me. This mixing idea is a pretty good one dude. It'll be interesting where this goes...

give that man a cookie, skylines are nice, but they come right after M3 on my list of favorite cars

also like everyone said, try mixing the looks more, not sure what you could do to front lights, but you could definatly mix mustang's and skyline's tail lights

Exactly, the R34 rear looks so crap that a R34 with R32 or R33 rear conversion would be very intresting for sure!
