I just recenetly bought the slim ps2 and will stick to this for a while now. But from what I heard is that ps3 games are gonna b compatable for ps2 so we will see.

It's the other way round RedStar, ps2 games can be played on ps3

All console are good , and have good games . But I thinks I'll buy the PS3 , cuz it got a large libery of games . and it work
backward ( PS2 , PS1 ) .
but as revelli said . buy only a year after it's been release , so you can see how good is the console , and wait to the good
game that will come out ,cuz most of the first games that shift out with the release are crap ! ( by no means )
cuz it's takes time to the developers to get the hang of the new hardware and get the best out of it.

PS3 looks sik. but it killed its controlers. XBoc 360 dosent look bad. But right now, my choice it neither since I have to see when they come out. Who knows how much the games will cost, $40 and up?

the controllers are plain ugly but there will be new third party controllers for it in a short while after the release i guess.

though in Finland new PS2 games cost around 50-57€ (62-71$)... :roll:

european releases are planned for this fall (for the xbox 360)
and around 16 March i believe for the ps3 (if i remember correct)
the price of the xbox 360 will be €300 for the standard package
and €400 for the deluxe kit (with a hard drive in it that already has some content on it)
the ps3's price will be €400
though most of these things are still rumours

i have a ps2 now so im not biased to xbox but i will no way buy a ps3 cos the xbox 360 kills it in perforamance and
i reckon the xbox will have more games.
im sick of the sony cos all the games are sequals and not many origional games come out
ive layed a massive amout of ps2 games and wouldnt want to play their sequels cos they are always the same kinda
except for nfs ill love every one when they come out

how would you know? they havent release ANY in game footage! they say they have but then its been found out that its all CG movies.

the PS3 looks like a damn george foreman grill, and its sales are going to be CRUSHED as microsoft, the sneeky B*****D's are releasing Halo3 on the same day as the Ps3, Go on Lads

most of the specs on the ps3 ARE better,but thats because theyve ONLY released the specs that beat the 360 but judging by sonys history of not getting anywhere near the capacity out of there console thats they should, it WILL follow suit.

ill be buying both but my Main priority is to get the 360, Ghost Recon 3, Project Gotham Racing 3, Perfect Dark Zero....and there just a couple of the great launch titles!!!

The Xbox 360 should already b out in the US yesterday, but i'm in Aus, and have no idea as to when i can get one, so i put one on an advanced pre-order at EB Games

uhhh lol u know ps3 is gunna be way more advanced since it comes out next year and the discs are like 54gig in size lol all that room for photo realism graphics YAY!
