Re: Neeed Chemistry Help QUICK!!

Well all I can think of is that you somehow have to boil the water (surely there's some usable fire wood on the island) to get steam... problem is what do you boil it with, don't know if the plastic coke bottles will melt or not, propably will. Oh well... then cool down the steam with the plastic sheets placed on top of the boiling water and bend them so that the condensed water will drain into a coke bottle.

This is the only solution I can come up with and I know it will work if you can figure out how to boil the water and how to keep the plastic sheets cool enough for condensation... :?

first , it's not a chemistry question at all , it's an imagination question .
if it's an island , there are coconut tree , so you can drink coconut juice , or boil with it water .

read , understand , wait , make it better

it is a chemitry question my freind, i have to use the distillation process we learned about in class and apply it to a reallife situation, i answered the question with some influence from monster, thanks buddy, and my teacher said my answer was somehwat correct, i then added that i take a peice of clothing soak it in cold ocean water and drench it out so its just wet but not ddrippiing and place on top of the plastic sheet, as to change the steam back into water faster when it hit the sheet of plastic.
