3ds max 8

Hi

I just orded 3ds max 8 (actually upgraded from 3ds max 6)
My question is if anyone ever tryed it
What are the new things and is it stabel?

I got it, cant say its much different from 6. Got a few new interesting add-ons, you can see for yourself here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet...112&id=5659451

You can also get the 30-days trial if you wanna see it more closely and dont wanna wait for your full.

I tryed that 30 days trail (Expired now)
Yet, I do think i have got to keep up with updating my 3ds max since it is a lot cheaper then Buy it fully

From what i have heard its just got some charter animating updates from max 7.

Well, the editable poly has a lot more functions compared to 3ds max 6
The animating has improved alot
It is more stabel
It now has a hair making sort of modifier
It can make clothes
it has Turbosmooth option

That are the things i found out compared to 3ds max 6

Also it doesnt crash. Iv been using it for over a month now and still hasnt crashed once.

i might have to get it then if it dosen't crash
my max crashes every half an hour :x

That was the same problem i encounterd with 6 :roll:

as you said it has turbosmooth - whats the difference between turbo and mesh -smooth ?
