My idea for a new Capri
I was talking with a friend about how it would be neat if Ford Australia remade the Capri. I decided to sketch out what I thought it'd look like. I tried using traits from the current Falcon model. I picture this thing weighing about 1300-1400 kg and using the Mondeo V6 or even the turbo engine from the XR6. A sporty, powerful fastback coupe that isn't as expensive as a euro but larger and more sophisticated than a ricer. Here's a rough sketch, tell me what you think guys:

raise the beltline of the window be level with or even a tad above the bottom of the windshield, make the wheel wels larger and put some aggressively sized rims on it and it would be very cool. I'm liking the headlight/front grill you have going on.

Lights are from a Ford Falcon, taillights are sort of a hybridised shape...rest of the car is pretty much original, though when I look at it the front looks a lot like a cosworth. Here's a falcon:
