Anyone knows approximately how much a 3D ANIMATOR makes a year?

I want to go for it, wich i hear some people telling me i could a lot of money in, but if it is a low paying carrer, then its a waste of time. Anyone know anything about it?

If you want to earn your living with it, you should at least be a god
But well, for example, look at Pixar. They have tons of money to spend, so if you're as good as that, I think you're in.. think..

yeaa they look for professionals with lots of experience.. but how much would you think they would pay? i read somewhere its about $60K - $80k. but i dont know that for a fact.

top jobs withing pixar are much higher paying than that, and im sure your hired for contract and not fulltime.. such as for 1 film(whaterver the length it takes to finish)

top jobs pay 110-150

im sure the entry level into pixar will pay high as well since they have the money ... im guessing 50-75k

if you are a good animator and you are good at doing all those little things that gives life to a character .
well you won't be needed to worry a bout your sallary ,
high company as pixar will pay high just for you to work with them cuz there is a damand for good animtors out there ,
even small company as well , will pay a lot for a talented animators .
the pay itself change from a company to a company according to how big the company is and what projects she does
and of course how much cash she got .
you will get the answer to your question after you'll ask yourself :
how skill are you ?
and which company will pay your sallary ?
