so after 2 hours of training at this lovely track i definitely think, that best car is mazda rx-7 type r bathurst r (fd) 01

i had tcs and asm turned off
sport soft tires and automatic transmission

May I ask what you mean with STOCk yet tuned?

i was thinking, that ppl will have more free time, cause the schoolyear is at the end

hmmm 2 weeks? well we could organize alot more races then... making it more exiting in the championship totals. Well I'll let the majority decide... but this race will last till the 2nd of June.

So this is to the racers, would you like to see a new race every 2 weeks? majority decides...
I'm actually for 2 weeks, more races, more variation (I got sick of this circuit after racing about 60 laps in total )

By the way:

I think this contest will be much more appealing if we can hold the races in GT4 Career mode, not in Arcade
That way everyone will be able to set up their own suspension, transmission and stuff
yet this means you must also have a weight limit like 1000kg's or so

it is way better to run in arcade mode, cause everyone will have the same settings, well if you are good in seting up your car, you can gain more speed and hadling etc, but this is bad for someone, who never ever tried to set up his car. And this is not funny to spend huge time in setting window...

how it is possible that your arcade mode is not running? you have only one dvd disc

and to answer SlimyStrikes question,...
not all races will be held in timetrail or arcade. The careermode will be used aswell this is still only the first race, and some things will change depending on how everything works out. Some minor points will be tried to taken care off by the next race everytime.

when i enter the arcade mode the PS2 just stop reading the disc

have you checked for smudges or dirt on the back of the DVD?
try using some soft cloth to clean the disk

and everytime, try to tuch disc only on the side of it

but your car is stronger and lighter as mine...
so is this allowed to reduce weight and use stronger engine as default???

so i went to the settings, set height of car to minimum, and power closest to 300hp

but i dont know, if someone will believe me, that i made this time in arcade mode:roll:

and yeah you can adjust your weight and engine aslong as it doesn't go over the limitation.

Well I tried with the RX8 and RX7, but I only got around 1:49.000 don't know where I could push alot harder tough, my guess is that I'm not takinga fast line in that first sharp turn. Also experiencing alot of understeer with the RX's. Guess I gotta keep training

ps: Revelli above the timetable it says "Time Trail", so I believe you

good

first turn is very important, you can lost there more than 0,5 sec. Try to brake hard very late, go very offside and then try to cross the triangle section(special ground with red/white places)
last turn is also very important, on the half circle turn try to run around 85 - 90, then concentrate to go on the red/white place and try to accelerate earlier as possible, you should have speed on the opening from the chicane at about 107 kmph
