I've spent all day with my Dad trying to make all the wires 'neat'... You might not be able to tell, but it is better than yesterday It's what happens when you use more zip-ties than Holden does manufacturing their cars

Anyways, back to Crysis!!

To continue the hype, here's mine.

Hardware :

Core2Duo E6600 overclocked to 3.4GHz, 2Go PC2-6400 low timing, GeForce 8600 GT fanless, 74Go Raptor for OS + 500Go Samsung for data.
All in a almost silent Antec P182. Monitor is a 22" by HP, the w2207 with Altec Lansing FX6021 to listen my favorite records during modeling sessions. The iPod dock on the left is now useless, my 40Go (4th generation) iPod harddrive is broken since last week.
Entry devices are Hiper HCK-1S18A (compact keyboard), Logitech VX Revolution (designed as a notebook mouse but fine for daily use because lightweight and not too big)

Software :

GNU/Linux (distribution is currently Ubuntu 7.10, but I'm no fanboy) with Blender and YafRay. Amarok for playing music.

Furniture :

Old desk, I've to change it, and the most important : comfortable chair. The shelves on the left are still empty, because I never took the time to unpack my books since I moved to this house. This makes my wife unhappy

Readings :

The book you can see on the shelf is "La 3D libre avec Blender", by Olivier Saraja. A must have for any french blenderhead.
Several stacks of "SportAuto" and "Evo" (french edition) under the table on the opposite side of the room. With PS2 and TV set to have a break on GT4

I love what you've done with the way almost everything on that desk is almost falling off

Oh, and way to abandon the Microsoft ship and buy that black George Foreman grill that you've got sitting there...

My work area, or more like play area:

Custom made car replace system out of wood..

AMD Athlon 64 FX-60, 2 gigs OCZ Extreme Player or Titanium Edition, forgot the name, Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe Edtion mainboard, ATI HD3870x2, Enermax 600w PSU, 2x 500gb Samsung drives, some crappy fans with blue leds, nice little 5.1 speaker system from MS-Tech, Logitech G15, Logitech G25, Logitech G9, NEC 19" LCD monitor, Thermaltake Kandalf Black as tower.

Inside the wooden box: telephone, place for wires, mini fridge which is broken -.- , subwoofer and storage for games.
